Earlier version of Google AdPlanner does not support sub domains (domains which does not starts with www), thus the result is more general and many bloggers have to be left out. The latest version is slightly more accommodating and accurate, though it does show MMW Food & Restaurants having less visitors than it actually does (based on data from Google Analytics). But then again, if this shortfall happens to us, it probably happens to others as well; so I assume the comparison within Google AdPlanner should work well.
We did a review of The State of Malaysia Food Websites on May 09 (we utilise our primaty domain malaysiamostwanted.com, which include web traffics for food, property, event and map as well), thus we are doing another round of comparison focusing on http://food.malaysiamostwanted.com/ only.
Below is the Google AdPlanner results on Top 10 Food & Restaurants Website in Malaysia (based on monthly visitors)

is this visitor per month tho?
ReplyDeletewonder how they got the number, my site's been getting about 65-75k/month tho :)
ReplyDeletelike I mentioned, the estimation is not perfect (even for my website). besides, different analytical tools might have different ways of measuring visitors as well. in terms of relative ranking (rather than actual visitor), perhaps there are some truth in it (just my personal opinion).
ReplyDeleteanyway, this is the best 3rd party independent analysis I can find so far.
Hey dude, is there any way I can get the list?
ReplyDeleteYou can use Google AdPlanner your self, or download the image (click on the image for an enlarged version), though it might be slightly outdated.
